James might he a little vain and prone to worrying too much about his splendid red paintwork, hut he's lots of fun! In fact, he's the comedian of the Steam Team, bringing colour and laughter wherever he goes. James likes to be the centre of attention and often shows off, which can lead him into sticky situations with the other engines.
However, he does take his wank very seriously and will always get the job done, and he will soon have the other engines laughing again.
